Organizational Membership

CISCM offers organizational membership for employers, education providers and public/sector bodies seeking professional engagement.

Corporate Member

For employers building supply chain capability and engaging employees in professional development. Potential access may include selected resources, events, competency support and preferred access to published services.

Academic or Training Partner Member

For eligible education and training institutions seeking professional engagement, knowledge exchange and collaboration without implying accreditation.

Public or Nonprofit Partner Member

For public, development, association and nonprofit bodies participating in sector dialogue, learning initiatives, research and professional engagement.

Organizational membership does not by itself accredit an institution or program, authorize delivery, approve trainers or permit certificate issuance. Each of those requires its own documented decision.

Continuing Professional Development

CISCM CPD is mapped to professional capability. Members identify the units and proficiency levels their current or target roles require, select suitable development and record what they learned, applied and changed.

Recommended CPD Expectation: Professional grades should normally complete at least 30 relevant CPD hours per year, including at least 15 structured hours. At least two hours should address ethics, compliance, sustainability, responsible sourcing, data or related professional responsibility.

The final requirement must follow the approved grade policy.

The Six-Step CPD Cycle

1
Assess
Compare current responsibilities and target role with the CISCM domains and units.
2
Plan
Select two or three priority capabilities and define intended application.
3

Combine structured, experiential and contribution-based activities.
4
Apply
Test learning through work, simulation, mentoring, writing or professional discussion.
5

Record what changed, what evidence supports it and what remains uncertain.
6
Review
Update the development plan and prepare evidence for audit, renewal or progression.

Acceptable CPD

Courses, webinars, workplace projects, research, mentoring, teaching, writing, conferences, professional service and guided self-study may count where they are relevant, evidenced and connected to an identified development need.
